Dr. Taylor Peyton’s path to leadership psychology didn’t begin in a lab, it started on the volleyball court. As a Division 1 athlete on the nation’s top-ranked team her freshman year, she learned early that success isn’t only about individual brilliance—it’s about trust, adaptability, and committing fully to your team. That experience shaped her view of great leadership essentials: discipline… continuous learning… service to something greater than yourself.

Taylor decided to pursue her Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership to deepen her passion and understanding of what causes people to thrive. While specializing in research, theory, and measurement, her dissertation on authenticity revealed something unexpected: she wasn’t just studying the topic—she was realizing how much she needed to claim her own. That insight sparked a years-long personal transformation marked by bold choices, travel, and deep self-reflection. Gradually she shifted into letting go of the script others handed her and writing one that felt true. Taylor’s lived experience sharpened her ability to guide others through meaningful change—especially in high-trust, high-accountability environments.

Today, Taylor designs and leads human-centered learning experiences that blend behavioral science, storytelling, and strategy. She’s known for translating complex research into practical tools leaders can use immediately. Her clients include Fortune 500s, global hospitality brands, hospitals, elite athletes, and fast-paced startups. In every setting, her work helps teams reconnect with what matters, reset how they lead, and reignite the energy to grow.

Taylor grew up in San Pedro—her mother a casting director, her father a national union organizer for the port. She lived in San Diego for many years, then Boston, and now resides in Los Angeles. These days on weekends in Santa Monica, you’ll likely find her back on the beach volleyball court—diving for saves, refusing to let the ball hit the sand.
